Modular Page Content Containers (Panels) An Alx Siteworks page is divided into five panels by default - top, left, main, right and bottom panels. Panels are reusable on different pages and can contain almost anything - text, images, links, banners. Panels are movable - you can move a left content panel to the top, right or bottom. If you update one panel, all instances of the same panel in other pages are also updated. Read more about panels here.

Page Categories Categorize pages into searchable lists such as News, Press Releases, Products or any kind of list. Once you have set up a page as a list, clicking on that page in the navigation displays a browsable paged list with thumbnails which can be searched and sorted.

Built-in Membership FeaturesAlx Siteworks comes with built-in Member Features which include an Account Management page where users update their registration details, automatic email alert (sent to site administrator) and confirmation email (sent to new member) upon submission of new registration form. Member data is managed at the backend and can be exported to Excel, XML or CSV

Email FeaturesNewsletter subscription and unsubscription is built into Alx Siteworks. Newletter subscribers are managed in the same way as members. You can create and send newsletters to subscribers, members or both.

Built-in Ad Banner Management Adding banners to your pages is easy. Just upload them in the Banner Section of the Admin Page. Banners can be easily switch on or off through a configuration file. See sample here .

Built-in File ManagerAlx Siteworks comes with a built-in File Manager available in Admin Mode that lets you create, copy, move, delete, rename files and folders. You can also upload or download any supporting files needed by your site.

Built-in Search FunctionalityAll files added to your site makes it automatically available for side wide searching. Search results are displayed in page lists which has the option of showing a thumbnail image of the page

Skinning/Styles
Skinning is available on the page level (through ASP.NET Masterpage files) and panel level (containers). Integrated page user controls or elements such as menus (horizontal menu, vertical menu, tab strip), panel bars, image galleries, news ticker also have the capability to be easily skinned. Ajax Tabs Ajax Tabs is another built-in User Control you can use to present your content in an organized and space-saving manner. It is available in two variations - Ajax Tabs Panel and Ajax Tabs XML. With Ajax Tabs Panel, content for each tab is fetched from existing panels, you just specify the IDs of the panels you wish to include. Ajax Tabs XML gets its content from an XML file you specify.
